Under a deep blue sky, billowy white clouds and bright sunshine, our congregation worshiped at the chapel at Camp Anderson last summer. Across the bridge spanning Van Scoyoc Run and standing in the small clearing, the chapel is the ideal setting to worship give thanks and enjoy the natural beauty of Central Pennsylvania.
The Mess Hall provided all the facilities we needed to setup and serve our covered dish lunch. Our older members put some mileage on the rocking chairs on the porch while they took in the action of our annual “Egg Toss” and other games available for the young and young-at-heart!
Camp Anderson is a Central Pennsylvania treasure, and we extend our thanks to the Camp Anderson Committee for continuing their efforts to improve the facility. We look forward to returning for our annual picnic and church service.
